Panic attack

The intensity of my reality often causes me to have panic attacks. This poem is an expression of how a panic attack affects me.

I can feel them watching,
The moment I step out the door.
A glaring so intense,
That I try my best to ignore.

Then I start to envision myself,
Walking like I’m drunk.
My legs feel like jelly,
And my heart starts to thump.

My eyesight goes fuzzy,
As I struggle to breath.
From every window of every house,
Someone’s looking at me.

Desperate to run,
I just need to escape.
I cant bare the intensity,
Its just to much to take!
